Our journey kicks off in the morning with pick-up at your hotel or private accommodation. A comfortable vehicle, stocked with cool drinks and snacks, is ready and waiting.
On the way, we’ll have plenty of time to chat, and I’ll share fascinating stories about our destinations and my beloved home state of Bavaria. You’ll quickly see why this region is so special to me!
The Eagle’s Nest – A View from the Top
Our first stop is the Eagle’s Nest, Hitler’s former mountaintop retreat, now one of the most breathtaking viewpoints in the Bavarian Alps. We’ll take the historic brass elevator, soaring through the heart of the mountain, before stepping out into panoramic Alpine views you’ll never forget.
Once at the top, we’ll explore the site together, soaking in the history and capturing incredible photos of the surrounding peaks. With my local knowledge, I’ll make sure you don’t just see the place—you’ll truly understand its past and significance.
Time for a Hearty Lunch
After our visit to the Eagle’s Nest, we’ll enjoy a delicious Bavarian or Austrian meal—served with a drink of your choice, all included in the tour price. Whether it’s a classic schnitzel, a hearty dumpling dish, or a refreshing Bavarian beer, this is the perfect spot to relax and refuel.
Salzburg – Mozart, Baroque, and Hidden Gems
With full stomachs and happy hearts, we continue to Salzburg, one of the most beautiful cities in Europe.
We’ll explore Salzburg’s charming Old Town, where history, music, and stunning architecture come together. Our walk takes us past:
- Mozart’s Birthplace – the house where the musical genius was born
- Hohensalzburg Fortress – one of the largest medieval castles in Europe
- Getreidegasse – the city’s famous shopping street, lined with beautifully decorated houses
- The smallest house in Salzburg – just 1.42 meters wide!
- And of course, many hidden corners and charming squares that bring Salzburg to life
