The standard tour includes time to admire the lake and capture some incredible photos. If you’d like to experience even more of this Alpine paradise, you can also extend your adventure with the optional Eibsee Lake Loop—a beautiful walk taking approximately 90 minutes to 2.5 hours, depending on your pace and the number of photo stops along the way.

We take the spectacular cable car ride to the summit—one of the most impressive in the world.
Within minutes, you’ll rise nearly 2,000 meters to the top of Germany.

One of the greatest advantages of a private tour is the flexibility to make the day your own.
If you would like to explore even more of Bavaria’s spectacular Alpine scenery, you can extend your private adventure with one—or even both—of the following optional experiences. As every tour and group is different, the additional fee will be arranged individually.
Eibsee Lake Loop
Instead of simply stopping for photos, discover one of Germany’s most beautiful Alpine lakes on foot.
The scenic Eibsee Loop takes you around the entire lake, passing crystal-clear turquoise water, secluded beaches, charming wooden bridges, tiny islands, and countless postcard-perfect viewpoints beneath the majestic Zugspitze.
Depending on your walking pace, fitness level, and the number of photo stops along the way, the walk usually takes between 90 minutes and 2.5 hours.
During the warmer summer months, you may also have the opportunity to enjoy a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters of Lake Eibsee. Please bring your swimwear and a towel if you would like to include a quick swim during your visit.
Partnach Gorge Adventure (Seasonal)
For those looking to experience another natural wonder of the Bavarian Alps, I highly recommend adding a visit to the spectacular Partnach Gorge near Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
Follow a fascinating trail through narrow tunnels and towering rock walls while the Partnach River rushes through the gorge below. Waterfalls, dramatic cliffs, and impressive natural formations make this one of Bavaria’s most unforgettable nature experiences.
This optional experience extends the tour by approximately 2.5 hours and is available only when the Partnach Gorge is officially open. Weather conditions, maintenance work, or safety concerns may occasionally require temporary closures.
