Day 1: Neuschwanstein, Linderhof & Garmisch-Partenkirchen

Our first stop is Neuschwanstein Castle—the fairytale palace that inspired Disney’s Sleeping Beauty Castle. Perched high above the valley, this breathtaking masterpiece is one of the most famous landmarks in the world. A spectacular cable car ride will take us up to the summit of the Zugspitze (2,962 meters), where you’ll be standing on the highest point in the country. From here, enjoy 360-degree panoramic views of four countries, the rugged peaks of the Alps, and glacial landscapes unlike anything else in Germany.
At the summit, we’ll stop for a traditional lunch with the best mountain views imaginable. If you’re up for it, we can even walk across the border into Austria!
After descending from the peak, we’ll take a leisurely stroll through Garmisch-Partenkirchen, where you’ll have time to explore the charming streets, pick up souvenirs, or simply enjoy the Alpine atmosphere before we begin our scenic drive back to Munich.
