I’m a proud Bavarian, born and raised in Munich.
In 2009, I packed my bags and set off to explore the world. Over the next decade, I had the privilege of living in some incredible places, including Las Vegas, Cape Town, Salzburg, Dubai, London, Bali, Singapore, Thailand, Sri Lanka, and the Dominican Republic.
No matter where life took me, one thing always stayed the same—I found myself working in tourism. As a guide, travel consultant, and destination expert, I loved introducing people to new destinations, sharing local culture, and helping them discover places they might never have found on their own.
Then came 2020. Like so many others, the COVID-19 pandemic suddenly changed everything. It gave me the opportunity to pause, reflect, and ask myself where I truly wanted to be. The answer was easy: home.
Returning to Bavaria turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. As incredible as the world is, nothing compares to the place where you grew up.
It also gave me the chance to turn a lifelong passion into my own business. That’s how The Bavarian Guide was born—a way to share my home with travelers from around the world while creating the kind of personal experiences I always wished existed.
Today, with more than 15 years of experience in international tourism, it’s my absolute pleasure to welcome guests from across the globe and introduce them to Munich, Bavaria, the Austrian Alps, and some of Europe’s most spectacular destinations.
Whether you join me for a private day tour, a customized multi-day adventure, or my luxury transportation service, my goal is always the same: to create memories you’ll still be talking about long after you’ve returned home.

One of the questions I’m asked most often is whether I have a team of guides. The answer is simple: No—every tour is personally guided by me.
There is nothing I enjoy more than welcoming guests to my beautiful home state and creating unforgettable memories together. To ensure every experience receives my full attention, Sepp, The Bavarian Guide is a true one-man show. I don’t work with partner guides or outsource tours—when you book with me, I’ll personally be your guide from start to finish.
To maintain the highest quality and my passion for what I do, I intentionally limit myself to around 13 private tours per month. After all, it’s your vacation, your time, and I want every tour to be as personal and memorable as it deserves to be.
